Accessibility
How this site
is built to be used.
This is a plain description of the accessibility features we’ve actually built into this site. It isn’t an audit, a certification, or a guarantee of full compliance with any standard.
What we’ve implemented
- A “skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled navigation and forms.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including a mobile menu that closes with the Escape key.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form controls.
- Form fields with associated labels, required-field markers, and status and error messages announced to screen readers.
- Generous touch targets for main navigation, buttons and form controls.
- Alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences on animated details and interface elements.
Known limits
We review and improve this site on an ongoing basis. If something isn’t working the way you’d expect with a keyboard, screen reader, or other assistive technology, we’d like to know.
